Hopefully you have been saving up those favor points, because 4 New Items have been added to the game today!

A major part of the most recent game update is the BLACK MARKET feature on the Equipment page. In this section, you will always find the same 3 Items available for favor points. These items will not sell out like the Limited Edition items, so you will have more time to accumulate points to obtain them. The Items now available in the Black Market are: Minigun; Window-pane Overcoat; & Trained Hit-Man

Also available today as a Limited Edition Item (this item will eventually sell out) is the STREYR AUG! With an attack power of 34 and a defense of 21, you can’t do better for 19 FP’s!

The second major feature added today is the MISSION BONUS. After you complete many of the missions, you will see the option to ask your friends for help. When you click this button, a post will be made to your wall. If your friends click on this post to help you out, you will receive a bonus. Pretty simple, right?

Finally, we have just started testing a revised placement and functionality of the WORLD MAP. With this new iteration, you will always see the link to the map at the top of your screen, rather than having to go to the Missions tab to travel. For those of you who see this test, feel free to send in any feedback you have. Please remember, we are currently testing this part of the game, so not everyone will see the change. Please be patient while we make sure everything works and makes the overall experience of the game more enjoyable.

Many players are still enjoying Chinatown, the most recent location added to the game last week, but we started thinking: What is the most popular location in the game right now? Do players like the low mob requirements in the Bronx? Does the heat of battle in Miami make it top dog? Or are the bright lights and pricy items in Las Vegas what everyone pines for?

On the My Profile tab under My Mobster, you will now see all possible Achievements and the requirements to obtain them. Just mouse over any achievement and you will see if there is another level available and what the requirements are to unlock. This should help clear up any questions about what achievements are and how to get them. If you still have any questions, please let us know.

As promised, we have released yet another new location in the game for you to enjoy. As of today, you can now peruse the streets of Chinatown in Mobsters 2! Beautiful scenery, a festive atmosphere, as well as new missions, territories and equipment all await you in this wonderful gem located inside the heart of New York City. You will continue to grow your mob empire and reputation while battling the rival Triads. But remember, there’s no switching sides!

20 New Missions, including:

• “Start Illegal Pai Gow Hall”
• “Assume Control of Triad Territory”

2 New Mastery Rewards:

• Tactical Shield from ”Patrol Little Italy”
• Loaded Dice from ”Open a High-Stakes Gambling Parlor”

10 New Random Loot Items, including:

• Armored Truck
• Police Cruiser
• Mayor’s Aide

10 New Pieces of Equipment, including:

• Nanchaku
• Crooked Cop
• Gold-Plated Magnum

As an update to a previous post, we want to inform players that the Attack & Defense Stats that some of you see displayed on the Equipment page will soon be removed from the game while we further enhance the feature. Please know that this does not mean it will be gone forever. We just want to make sure it works as best it can and that all players understand what it does and why it is useful. We understand if this may cause frustration, but please bear with us while we work to better your gaming experience.

Bounty Predator II is only the second player ever to be featured on the blog. He is a serious fighter (you can tell from his stats above), and has his sights set on the Legendary Fighters list. In real life, Bounty Predator II is almost the complete opposite of a Mobster; he is a Police Officer. This everyday hero is quickly rising in Mobsters 2 and we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw him on the Made Men list tomorrow! Other than enjoying Mobsters 2, Bounty Predator II also enjoys watching his favorite film, Star Wars, and listening to his favorite musician of all time, Eddie Van Halen.
